Services & Pricing
Three areas of practice, clearly defined.
Each service is scoped to be specific, priced to be accessible, and delivered to a standard that reflects the seriousness of the matters involved.
Back to HomeOur Methodology
How we approach every engagement
Intake & Scoping
We begin with a structured conversation to understand the context of your matter — not just the legal question, but the circumstances and objectives behind it. This shapes everything that follows.
Substantive Work
The engagement proceeds with regular communication. For drafting, you receive a first version for review before we finalise. For reviews and litigation, you are kept informed at each stage with a clear explanation of progress.
Delivery & Follow-up
At completion, we walk through the outcomes with you and answer questions. For compliance and contract work, we ensure you understand the practical implications before closing the engagement.

Each service, in depth
Contract Drafting
Corthane prepares tailored commercial agreements, memoranda of understanding, and service-level contracts. Each document is drafted to reflect the specific circumstances of the parties involved, with attention to Malaysian contract law principles — not lifted from a standard template.
The process includes an intake session to surface the key terms, a first draft with annotations explaining significant provisions, a review meeting, and a finalised version. The drafting is suitable for business partnerships, vendor agreements, and consultancy arrangements.
What is included
- Initial intake session to define terms and objectives
- First draft with annotations on key provisions
- Review meeting to address questions and revisions
- Finalised clean version ready for execution
- Turnaround of one to three weeks (standard scope)
Fixed Fee
MYR 3,200

Regulatory Compliance Review
A systematic examination of your business's operations against applicable Malaysian regulations, including licensing requirements, data protection obligations under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, and industry-specific requirements relevant to your sector.
The review produces a detailed report identifying areas of alignment and areas where adjustments may be advisable. It is designed for companies undergoing expansion, restructuring, or preparing for audits. A follow-up consultation to discuss findings and recommended actions is included as part of the engagement.
What is included
- Structured document and information request at outset
- Review across licensing, data protection, and sector rules
- Detailed written report of findings and gaps
- Follow-up consultation to discuss recommended actions
- Duration of three to five weeks (typical)
Fixed Fee

Civil Litigation Support
Corthane provides representation and advisory support through the stages of civil proceedings in Malaysian courts. Coverage extends from pre-action correspondence and statement of claim preparation through to court attendance and post-judgment matters.
